Thoughtful by design

I design and refine websites with a focus on clarity, restraint, and thoughtful structure. My work is craft-led and collaborative, shaped around the people behind the business rather than trends, templates, or noise.

I work best with clients who value calm, considered design and want a website that feels clear, professional, and easy to live with — whether they’re starting fresh or improving something that already exists.

This page isn’t a list of credentials. It’s a way of explaining how I think, and what it’s like to work together.

My mission.

At Digitally Spruced, my focus is on creating calm, well-considered digital spaces that support people’s work without adding noise or complexity.

I design and refine brands and websites with care, clarity, and intention — shaping work that feels honest, professional, and built to last, rather than rushed or trend-driven.

The story behind Digitally Spruced.

Digitally Spruced grew out of a long-standing interest in both technology and thoughtful design. After more than a decade working in technology consulting, I found myself increasingly drawn to the quieter, more considered side of digital work — shaping websites that are clear, well-structured, and genuinely useful.

What began as helping a friend with their brand and website gradually became a practice focused on small businesses and solo practitioners who want something calm, professional, and carefully made — rather than rushed or trend-led.

I work closely with clients, taking the time to listen and understand what they need before anything is built or refined. The process is collaborative, unhurried, and grounded in clarity, so people feel confident not just in the end result, but throughout the work itself.

My focus is on creating websites that support people’s work over time — sites that are easy to live with, easy to update, and built with care.

I’m based on the Isle of Wight in England and work with clients locally, across the UK, and internationally.
